Community Advocate

Speaker: Kelly Stratford

Kelly is currently on the Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Ward Community Board & represents the Kawakawa/Moerewa area. Kelly calls herself a Community advocate. She sees her role as a community advocate as someone who supports people to get action on issues, or putting the wheels in motion to get that action. It involves lots of listening to people in the community, attending meetings and then knowing how to put a plan together to get some action.
Kelly is excited to help promote that we need more community leaders. She is a firm believer that the more people become leaders, the more problems we will solve.

Join us for breakfast. It’s going to be fun!
