Speaker: Vicki Douglas
Our speaker this month is Vicki Douglas – Vicki returned to Kerikeri in 2008 to reinvent herself after divorce. She brought into McFadziens Pharmacy and Kerimed Pharmacy. The business grew as she bought out the opposition, opened the Waipapa Unichem Pharmacy and amalgamated the two main street pharmacies into one, currently called Unichem Kerikeri Pharmacy.
Vicki’s forte is in management, human resources, teaching, systems and organisation, so she is often “out the back” rather than on the dispensary floor. She still enjoy patient contact though, and get much pleasure from solving problems and helping her patients.
Vicki’s spare time is taken up with Rotary and she has held many positions within the Kerikeri club. She loves giving back to the community and Rotary ticks all the boxes in that respect for her.
She will be speaking on “The Truth Behind The Label”.
If you are keen to donate to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, we have set up the page below – we won’t be taking specific donations on the day and the cost for the breakfast is the same as usual.
