Marketing without data is like driving with your eyes closed – 21-07-2016

Speaker: Kirsty Grant

Back in 1992 when asked what she’d like to do after her degree, Kirsty replied “work in an advertising agency”. It all sounded so glamorous she thought!
Over the next 20 years Kirsty Grant worked in direct marketing agencies in New Zealand and the UK. She learnt that advertising is mostly about long hours and demanding clients and was seldom glamorous.
Along the way she did pick up a few things on data analytics, developing brands and loyalty programmes along with what it takes to produce award winning work. She also found that when the boss says you need to be more transparent, what that really means is having a team photo in your birthday suit!
Kirsty takes us through her key learnings and how you can apply them to your business.

When: Thursday 21 July 2016
